Family!

One of the great parts of sitting down in Boston for a month this summer is... Family!

We've been fortunate to be near family this time of year and were able to go down and celebrate my mom's bday on our day off. Wednesday we got to hang out with my cousin Kim and her two little ones, Liam and Ewan.

And then on Thursday we got to hang out with my cousins Jon and Jackie and Jackie's little one, JT.

He was kind enough to share his french fries, but he gave me one he tasted first.

Oh Boston You're My Home.

I'll admit, I probably spread the vibe across the country that I am from "Boston" a little too much. But I enjoy having pride in where I am from. I've always described myself as being a New Englander. I enjoy those warm summer days followed by cool summer nights, and though winter can be long and miserable, theres nothing better than the first snow flakes of the season floating down.

The path life has taken the last few years has kept me away from those glorious moments and it's a shame but not anymore! With a gorgeous 4 week sit in Boston with the tour I've been able to revel in the summer life. I am also getting a great chance to live in a city I do not know nearly enough about. Sure I know the land marks and the sites, but I don't know anything about living in the city. 12 days in.... I want to live here. Nothing against NYC or Hoboken, but Boston has the vibe I love.

So with our 1st monday off, Beth and I took in a Red Sox game at Fenway (America's most beloved ball park) with my good friend Brett and his gal Jackie.

Saw these in the Public Garden in Boston Common on Friday. I thought they looked like something out of Dr. Suess!

Fun Fact:

They are called Allium and a member of the onion family and come from a bulb.

Blog who?

So we're in Buffalo. In June. 10 months since our last post. And suddenly I was inspired to blog again. (No promises on how long it lasts, but here we are.)

The newest news in our lives is that we won't be B&B on TOUR for too much longer... only 11 weeks and 5 more cities until we move HOME TO HOBOKEN! It's been 4 wonderful long years on the road, but we figure it's time to home for a bit.

Here are some fun highlights from the past 10 months...

Got a new purse in DETROIT.

Found a great bar in OMAHA.

Got bikes that fold.

Celebrated Halloween & Thanksgiving in SAN FRANCISCO.

Christmas in LA.

Had a party in SAN DIEGO.

Drank 200 beers and met the Bush's in HOUSTON.

Went to Harry Potter World in ORLANDO.

Brian learned to scuba dive in FT. MYERS.

Saw 2 Durkeys doin' it on Valentine's Day, learned to make pulled pork, went to the Keys and almost ran out of gas in FT. LAUDERDALE.

Had a freestanding toilet in my office, failed at selling sunglasses for Broadway Cares, took a cooking class and had some surprise visitors in NEW ORLEANS.

Celebrated Beth's birthday in SAN ANTONIO.

Lived at home, Mom and Dad C cooked dinner for the company and apparently we didn't take any pictures in BALTIMORE.

Was reminded that Jesus Tips 20%, had awesome publicity, had an ice cream social, got to eat Black Raspberry CC right out of the machine and went to my first May breakfast in PROVIDENCE.

Got to meet Baby Cayden and hang out with this cool kid in CLEVELAND.

Could see home plate of PNC Park from our bathroom window in PITTSBURGH, but forgot to take a picture.

Hung out with the most interesting man in the world in HARTFORD.

Had a pirate pARRRRRRRRRRRRty with ARRRRRRRRRugula salad and PBRRRRRRRRRRRR in ROCHESTER.

And we're back to BUFFALO...
