Maggie's First Bath

Today was a big day! In anticipation of the holidays and Maggie being home for almost a month, we gave her her first bath today! She also got her ears cleaned and her nails clipped.

Maggie was a total trooper and got lots of delicious sweet potato treats for being such a good girl! After a good shaking off in the bathroom she was ready to go wreak havoc on the apartment again.

Road Trip

Here we go! Maggie's first big roadtrip! Lincoln Tunnel, then Attleboro or bust!

Dinner Party

Maggie was the center of attention on Sunday night while we had a few friends and neighbors over for some delicious Carnitas and other delicious stuff!

A Day of Firsts

Well today was a day of firsts for all of us!

Beth and Brian finally took showers for the first time since Maggie came home.

Maggie had her first rainy outing and got to know the dry-off towel very well.

And she also had her first visit to the vet!

She is a whopping 11 lb, 10 oz and in great health, although we were having trouble getting her to eat all of her food. But I think I solved the problem tonight - her bowl was too big for her. Once I dumped the food on the mat where her bowls are, she gobbled it all up.

Which led to one crazy dog...

Maggie: Day 2

Today was a loooooooong but fun day. We got Maggie into a better routine, alternating between her crate, outside to try for bathroom breaks, and inside for playtime. She did really well and is still cute as ever. We ended the day with a little snuggle time on the couch.

New Addition to the Family!

Today Brian and I welcomed a new member into our little Hoboken family... meet Maggie!

Maggie is our 7-week old Golden Retriever puppy who we just brought home!

She is really good at looking adorable.

So far she likes to play with us and her new toys...

Especially her blue dog...

She also likes taking naps...

And hanging out under the coffee table and Grandma's bench...

And snuggling with my rain boots.

We're working on the walking, but so far we've only made it between the 3 trees out front and a one-time big adventure around the corner of the building. Usually she just sits on the sidewalk and scratches.
